The Complete Medicinal Herbal by Penelope Ody. Published in 1993.

I also found an article online which makes the same claim: "Cayenne seeds, as they can be toxic, should not be used."

That aside Dr, Schulze in the save your life videos put whole habenero peppers in the blender. But the picture in the book (mentioned above) was showing the actual cayenne variety peppers which I also used in my tincture.
