Re: Dermatologist appt. & patch test results

I agree. Need to get to the root cause. Candida sounds awful! Sorry you had to go thru that. What are the ingredients in Doctors Defense that it works so well for you? I will probably get some. Very interesting with the yogurt. I am trying to eliminate milk and soy so not sure if I should put yogurt on my skin. Although the derm doesn't think it's a food allergy . I am starting to think she's not that knowledgeable escpecially since she had to get the "big book of rashes" out to look at the contact derm pics.
I've been thinking about adding a probiotic slso. I just finished the left over ultimate flora capsules I had from awhile back. That's too bad that you have a scar at the base there. To bad they couldn't have taken a sample else where. Do you think I should continue applying ACV directly to my skin even though the first time it did not relieve the itchiness? I also find it hard to believe that some dust mites could be causing all this eczema but then again when you google eczema it does say most cases stem from dust mite exposure. Told hubby we need to pull up the carpeting, get rid of upholstered furniture, get a dehumidifier, get pillow and mattress encasings, and special anti-dust mite laundry detergent and he thought I was nuts. Let's see that will cost about $2,000. Argh!
