Bartholin Gland

To all women who have had a bartholin abscess I feel your pain.I'm 23 and this is my third one in the space of 3 months.The first one was unbearable. Walking,sitting and sleeping was a discomfort.I went to the doctor who performed the marsupialization method,he gave me Antibiotics and I recovered well.
Then the next month I got another one! but it burst through the opening that was left in the incison he made after a few days and I was relieved but I still went back to make sure everything was in order.
I presently have one,and I'm waiting for it to burst open anytime now amd I'm taking pain killers to help.
What helps me is after I shower I fill the bathtub with warm water and table salt and I sit there for about 10-15 mins,it really helps with the pain. I am thinking long and hard about removing the gland itself, but I have to consult my doctor first.If you have an abscess it will help not to probe and try to burst it on your own,it makes it worse.
