The vaccination schedule is increasing in frequency. Paranoid mothers think they are doing the best thing when they opt-in. The worst a mother can do is choose multiple vaccination shots at the same time for a kid.

Where I work (a hospital), if a patient has a fever, they almost always prescribe tylenol (ASA) to reduce fever. Oh, and they are proud users of "evidence-based practice!"

I do recall always just going through a flu or cold, under a warm blanket, and feeling better after a few days of eating easy on the stomach foods like soup. The heat is necessary to stop virus action, activate t-cells, and increase circulation of t-cells. Higher temperature equates to more energy in the body working to cure a dis-ease.
