Re: "ALL" Disease?????...

The body is acid forming by function... and must have an adequate supply of alkaline mineral salts and oxygen in order to, 1. eliminate acidic wastes created by this function, 2. to manufacture nutrients, such as vitamins, enzymes, complexed proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, etc.and 3. to react with acidic nutritive elements in the creation of new tissue and cells along with the "creation" of energy from the subatomic level on up to your awareness level.

As an example of tissue generation, there are 25 "known" alkaline and acidic nutritive factors REQUIRED for cartilage regeneration. One or more deficiencies and/or metabolic disruptions due to these deficiencies, and it DOES NOT HAPPEN. In addition, and this is THE important part, if the nutritive acids exist, however the alkaline nutrients/substances do NOT, the cartilage DEGENERATES at a faster rate until such time as the alkaline nutrients become reintroduced.

THIS is TRUE for all tissue regeneration and FUNCTION. and each tissue/organ has its own specific nutrient requirements... illustrated more fully below with the diabetes reference. So what do you think?

In addition, and to address the heavy metal issue, IF one does not have adequate calcium, AND they do get lead from their diet, cosmetics, or from the air they breathe, the body will grab onto it and USE it in place of the calcium... the body will use whatever it can, EVEN heavy metals in order to prolong life and get it to reproductive age at any cost... if at all possible.

That "science" found in very short order (in science terms) that there were very big problems associated with leaded fuels and paints back in the 50's and 60's leads me to believe as a nation, our calcium levels were falling dramatically even back then... most likely due to the escalation in the use of pesticides and herbicides which cause terrible calcium, along with other mineral metabolism disruption in the foods they are used on... and then in the CONSUMER of these foods.

Most do not argue with blood maintaining a pH of between about 7.35 and 7.45... this must be so. This permits the blood to exchange alkaline nutrients (food) for acidic wastes from the cellular metabolic processes, which are then filtered out and eliminated in our wastes, urine, feces, and sweat.

Lymphatic system... is the same thing.

While our buffering systems work hard at maintaining pH... the lymphatic system pH is secondary to the blood pH in terms of priority, and tends to suffer degradation first in all cases... leading to aches, pains and degenerative tissue diseases, while the doctors who ignore the health of the lymphatic system tells you all your "tests" are "normal".

More confusion arises due to the severe lack of alkaline trace minerals in our diets. Alkaline trace minerals are VERY important and are nearly non-existent in the SAD diet.

As an example the recent explosion in diabetes rates has a great deal to do with the lack of chromium, vanadium and manganese to name JUST a few. There are many others...

However, an important thing to note here is that, to a point, the body can and does substitute one mineral for another in order to maintain as best as possible under the circumstances... as an example; in SOME functions, but not ALL, magnesium can apparently substitute for manganese.

To give you an idea of how severe the trace mineral problem is, some studies have shown that you would have to eat 8 times the amount of spinach your grandmother did in order to obtain even close to the same nutritional value... and this was done with only a few of the MACRO minerals... and ignored trace minerals.

I have made curious observations that labels on pet foods are more informative than those on the foods we purchase in grocery stores... which rarely, if ever list more than a few minerals on them. If they were required to label a complete nutritional profile, we would all immediately know how very poor our food supply is.

And yes... poor food, ALONG with poor environment, poor thoughts, and poor lifestyle habits leads to all degenerative disease.

Herbs can be, if of good to excellent quality, excellent sources of trace minerals... many teas, especially Holy Basil are excellent sources of chromium and a lessor source of other trace minerals.

You see, even in the same soil, each plant has its own metabolic function/vibrational frequency that concentrates certain alkaline minerals... IF you do not use chemicals that would disrupt their metabolic function.

This is WHY food is your medicine, and medicine is your food FIRST and foremost. That is what we try to teach here.

Secondary to that, and recognizing the terrible polluted environment that we live in, AND the VERY difficult time we all have in obtaining high quality, nutritive foods, the mineral rich alkalizing drink and alkalizing baths, etc. are an adjunct to fill in the gaps.

I hope I have made this a little clearer for you. The cartilage reference, possibly being the most direct answer to your question.
