I did not refrigerate Bentonite

Help please. I bought hydrated bentonite, used it for a few days, always leaving it on the kitchen counter. Later saw it said refrigerate after opening. Who would have thought you have to refrigerate clay! Am I likely to be hurt by continuing to use this bottle? I have lots left and it was expensive! Tweet
