Re: Is this an erotic dream or am I psychotic?

Hi!

I've read this thread and, don't care for the idea
of "demons in the dark."

The dictionary says INCUBUS
1.An evil spirit believed to descend upon and have sexual intercourse with sleeping women.
1. A nightmare.
3. Something oppressively or nightmarishly burdensome.

Although the one who wants to take you to a cold place
might fit this catagory, the rest of these experiences
do not fit the definition given.

Have you had any reoccurences since this was posted?
If so, were they the same or different because of your
new-found "awareness"?

I am a female who has also had the impression someone
or something was in bed with me. This was during a time
in my life was I was very open and receptive. It all proved too much for me and I spent time recovering in
a medical facility. I was diagnosed as bi-polar with
psyco-tropic (sp?) tendences. (I was hearing voices too)
During this time of heightened awareness (for lack of a better term) I had one time declared to a presence that
I served God. It replied that it did too. That managed
to calm me down. This presence seemed very large and reminded me of John Coffy in the movie "Green Mile".
It did nothing but keep me company, making me feel
very protected.
Another time the presence was more frightening.
I hid under the cover and answered it best i could.
Don't recall what was said, only that I felt as if I
was being interrogated by a not nice person, or spirit.
This spirit was very no nonsense and I felt it left me
disgusted with my cowardice. I felt only relief.

I say don't group all these experiences into one
catagory. True, none of my experiences had the sexual
content of yours. I did however have a dream....
which I'm thinking of posting.

Hope your experiences of this type become more acceptable
to you. If they really bother you I'm sure you can find
someone to talk them over with.
