More On Hair Color

Several of us gals have been discussing returning our hair back to its God-given color. One of the first things Uny said to me after I sent her a picture was "What's wrong with the color God gave you?" That comment hit a bull's eye on the vanity target. Ouch! Everybody knows blondes have more fun, Uny!

That comment stung at the time, but, as usual, I knew Uny was right. I couldn't put chemical soup on my hair every month or so and subscribe to Natural Healing and the Incurables Program. So I started to grow the brown out. I cut my hair pretty short a couple of weeks ago. It used to be halfway down my back. I considered it a rite of passage. It will grow long again in time.

Today I noticed that one of my Facebook friends, Kristen Suzanne of Kristen's Raw, had a blog published on Kris Carr's Crazy Sexy Life site. She decided to go back to her natural brown hair color and cut her hair short, too. Hah! We are so cutting edge (pun intended) here on this forum! Read Kristen's thoughts and then the comments afterward. She's got brand names for safe henna products for brown, black, and red hair. One commenter said to get natural highlights by squeezing lemon juice on your hair when you sunbathe. We need to be sunbathing anyway, so yay! Here's a link to the blog posting:
