I can't believe its been almost 2 years!!!

Hi Ladies!! You wont know mw because I haven't been on for probably a year, but I just wanted to check in with everyone and let them know that YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS!!!
When I found this website, I sounded just like most of you, scared, confused, pissed off, all of that ( click on my name to see my posts, at times I sounded like a lunatic) It was truly the worst time of my life. Random pains, fatigue, and life shattering panic attacks were ruling my life. All I can say is that the only thing that makes things better is TIME. With each period, things got closer to normal, untill one day I realized that I went a whole week without tingling or a painc attack. Then it was 2 weeks, and so on, untill I was left with a little PMS a few days before my period, but that's pretty normal. It's funny, today I had the feeling that I used to call " stuffy throat" instead of nose, because it felt like my thraot was closing up. Many other people at the time had it too, and it was one of those things that would make me panic because at the time, everything did. Now I realize that the " stuffy throat" was due to late season allergies, and my nose wasnt running because I have nasal polyps, so the mucous runs down my throat. It may sound atupid or obvous, but I worried every little thing that "felt wrong" would send me to my grave. I think the anxiety the hormones in the mirena causes us to lump everything that is going on in our lives at this terrible time (physically and emotionally) together, and make it seem bigger than it is. Just do your best to relax, have a cup of tea,take a bubblr bath or read or do whatever you can do to get your mind off of the mirena, and the anxiety will go away, and when the anxiety goes away, many of the physical symptoms do, too. Good luck to you all, and keep reminding yourself that this is real, but ONLY TEMPORARY!!!!! It will be over soon, I promise!
