Re: Why do i get cold tired i iodine
Maybe, I'm certainly not an expert, but it sounds like it's not unusual for that to happen. Seems like from what I've read on this forum, people have different experiences based on their individual health profile and lifestyle, etc. Some tolerate the high doses very well, others seem to need to go more slowly (I think I'm one of those). We're all kind of experimenting based on the studies out there, most not under medical supervision. I just happen to live in the same city where Dr. Brownstein practices, and I was a patient of his years ago before he got into iodine, so I'm sort of working with him on it, but I'm doing stuff on my own as well. I don't know if anyone can really give you a definitive answer, since I don't know if there are any hard and fast "rules" about how every body is supposed to react, how much each person needs. Some people even think you're better off getting it in food form, so who knows. My feeling is we're exposed to all kinds of crazy poisons mother nature never designed us to deal with, including all the xenoestrogens out there, so sometimes food form isn't enough, and more direct measures might be needed at least in the short term. I'm starting to look into Richard Shulze's protocols on cleansing and talking to Uniquity over in her forum about the protocol they use that's based on Schulz, Gerson and Dr. Christopher, and it's starting to make sense I need to do more extensive work on cleaning out my body and improving circulation and oxygenation before I can expect really good results from iodine.
