need allergy elimination techniques

Hi,

I have a 4 year old German Shepherd who has seasonal ear problems. Cleaning the ears and applying ointment helps, but it was discovered from blood tests that she has underlying allergies which contribute to the cause.

I haven't gotten the full test results back, so I am not sure what kind of pollen/grass, etc she is allergic too. But, I was surprised to find out she is allergic to beef and lamb. These are her two favorite foods and she is a very finicky eater. I am going to have trouble finding food she likes. I never expected this.

I am going to have one saaaaaad dog.

Does anyone know of allergy elimination techinques that work in animals?

My heart is breaking for her. I wish it were me instead of my baby.

Ironically, I can eat beef and lamb, but I won't touch them and would rather have vegetables. Poor Holly, beef and lamb is all she likes and she can't have them. Life is unfair.
