Re: The 'DO NOT DO' Opus while healing and detoxing:
Miss H, please email instructions for these ceiling installations.
I have been working with parents of children with Aspergers, and with these kids, and adults, colour therapy has amazing effects. Having living plants and water fountains in the home is also extremely important for our spiritual and mental health.
My home is all greens, blues and purple, as these colours are soothing to me. I do not have reds, yellows or (god forbid) orange, in any of my rooms, other than in very small amounts. This colour group works well for Aspergers kids as well. Softening angles and having no overhead or bright lighting, is also very important. Many Aspergers people get extremely distressed in bright lighting.
It constantly amazes me how the vibrational effects of colour can have profound effects on behaviour. I went to visit a mother who has an autistic child, the child was not sleeping at night and woke constantly, was very irritable and frustrated during the day. I walked into the childs bedroom, and nearly fell over, it was painted bright yellow and red, and the curtains and quilt cover were striped. EEEEEKKKK, was my first response, it was very disturbing, no wonder the kid was having problems.
We discussed colour and lighting, she repainted the room in soft blue and grey green (ocean colours), and got rid of the stripes. Changed the lighting to salt lamps and small led lights (fairy lights). The effect on the child was immediate and profound. He slept 8 hours straight the first night, was happy and energetic during the day, is eating better, and is just all round a happier kid. He now has a much happier Mum as well.
