SCD and Master Cleanse

Has anyone tried or heard of any chances that a cleanse such as The Master Cleanse (also known as the Lemonaide Diet) would cure the allergies? The book on the cleanse talks about how it can cure illnesses/diseases, and how it truly cleans out the entire body. If it cleaned out the bacteria in the gut, wouldn't that solve the problem?
