I feel with you,Cora; keep your spirit up girl.

I would fill up my thyroid with real Iodine before the scan, so it resist the radioacive type + a lot of selenium.
Also take a lot of chlorella algae before the scan.
Pity you cant take the borax as this also help the body resist radioactives. (used after chernobyl)
