Hi dfams1,

Your question: Ah, that's great! I thought I must've mixed something wrong, but hopefully it's quite the opposite.

To answer your question, I do not plan on transplanting. Everything will be starting from seed as I only just started this project a week and a half ago. But as you know I'm very new to this so I'm not familiar with the benefits of doing one versus the other.

Since it'll all be starting from seed, will all the mulch and mold cause any problems or get in the way? I assume I should have to part it and leave room for it to grow up.

Also I did have to water the soil for a very long time after adding the mixtures in order for it to get fully moist, I hope this doesn't cause any problems. I'll be getting the soil PH tested tomorrow to see if I did everything alright though =)

Thanks again!

Answer: Yes, you will need to part the mulch and plant the seeds and you may want to just plant fall cole crops as winter is moving in in America.

I do not know where you live, but if you live in the southern states, then you should have time for some fall crops!

Smile Tis your choice.
