Without a diagnosis, I'm hesitant to give advice. But if it's just from stress or a minor injury, the following exercises will eliminate it.
Get yourself in a comfortable sitting position.
1 - turn your head as far to the left as possible and hold for 5 counts, then to the right for 5 counts. Repeat 5 times.
2 - move your head as close to your chest as possible and hold for 5 counts, then up to the sky for 5. Repeat 5 times.
3 - move your head as close to your left shoulder as possible and hold for 5, then right shoulder for 5. Repeat 5 times.
4 - move your head down to your chest and circle right 3 times, then circle left 3 times.
5 - shrug your shoulders 25 times.
Do this at least once a day. If you want you can repeat it every hour. It really is magical. The movement brings blood to the area and that cures the pain.
