Re: Energy healing
The short answer is: I didn't learn it from anyone. This makes it extremely hard for me to help anyone else with it.
Having said that, I'll share a little bit of history with you - years ago, one of my sons developed pectus excavatum, which is where the chest looks like it has caved in. A pediatrician told me he would need surgery to correct it - when I looked up the procedure for this condition, I found it to be extremely radical and carried no guarantees - so, like many other things in my life, I began to search for other answers. A friend of mine does some therapeutic energy work with people , so I asked her if there was anything I could do. She said if I were to pretend I had a string tied to the middle of my palm, which connected to his chest, I could begin to pull it back out. I experimented with this a couple of times and felt the energy (string) she was talking about.
Several years later, my husband was dying, in a third world country with a severe infection in his foot. My brother-in-law, who is a doctor, had him on the most potent anti-biotics he could get his hands on, but was still losing him. When I arrived, he told me that if I did what I do and he did what he does - then, maybe, between the two of us, we could save him. I used the herbs I would normally use, but, having used them before, I knew how long they would take, and we were out of time - my husband was delerious with a high fever. I knew I was going to need 'stronger guns' to get the infection out. When no one was around, I began to experiment - I learned how to 'lock' into the infection and pull it out. After this experience - others challenges presented themselves, so I began to experiment. For a long time, we just kept this in our family and didn't talk about it.
Then, a few years ago, a woman came to the inn where I was working with the owner to convert her health spa into a healing center. The woman was in kidney failure, had several bowel blockages and was in congestive heart failure. She had been sent home on hospice to die. I was 'shown' how to help her. It came from a higher source and I was obedient - I was able to do things I had never done before and it worked. This kind of let the 'cat' out of the bag and other people came.
One afternoon, a friend of mine brought her husband to me because he had an infection in his bones which was keeping a severe break from healing. She asked me if I could pull the infection out - I worked on it until pus started coming out of the skin. She wanted me to show her how I did it, so I taught her. About 4 days later, she crashed and went through a horrible time of weakness and being sick. One other time, I agreed to teach some people who had been bugging me for a year to show them how to do this. I think most left frustrated and bewildered. The lesson for me was: I can't teach this - I don't know enough to help others be safe. Apparently, part of what I do, I must have learned in another life time and just do it subconciously. I had a 'Master' who had trained in China for several decades tell me that he wasn't sure how I do what I do. I had someone else tell me that I am like a 6 year-old, playing with a loaded 45 caliber.
I just read what I have written - so much for the short answer! Anyway, you asked me what I think of it - what I have learned and been able to do has been an incredible experience - in fact, I'm at a place in my life where the more I learn, the more I know I don't know. In other words, it motivates me to continue to want to learn more because there is sooooooooooooo much more to know.
I know what it's like to search for help you can't find, so I'll give you a couple of suggestions that might help. Someone told me once about a book entitled, "Hands of Light" - I've never read it, but it came highly recommended.
Another suggestion I would make is this: You can't work with energy if you don't know what it feels like, so I would suggest finding ways to feel the energy that is all around you. One way is to find a plant that is vibrantly alive - hold your hand just above one of the leaves and see if you can connect with it - if you do you will be able to move the leaf without touching it. Another thing you might try is: if you are ever around someone with an infection from a sore, you might try holding your hand above it and see if you can create the string between it and you - if you do and you pull your hand back, it will be kind of like the feeling you have when you play with a yoyo. As you release the yoyo, you feel the tension as the yoyo hits the end of the string and then you pull it back toward you.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but wish you success on your journey.
