Re: Umbilical hernia complications
'Lo there, So. Africa,
Me, too...umbilical hernia...lots of pain, too.
Do you experience a painful "pulling" sensation from the inside groin area down, through and including, the inside thigh to the instep of your foot? It's just one of the many painful sensations I experience.
I'm not opting for surgery because I haven't found anyone yet to say theirs was successful, either they've had many RE-surgeries or mesh/web infections.
What I have found, tho, online, a few years ago, was an ASIAN TEA that supposedly when consumed shortens the intestinal tract so-much-so that it PULLS back into the body/core the loop of the hernia. It sounds incredible, if true. I did not memorialize the website and haven't been able to search-engine it out, as yet. I've asked about this tea here online on CZ. When I get this information I'll post it here for everyone herniated.
Oh, yes, that bladder pressure...it just seems to go with the hernia territory...constant pressure, lots of potty visits. In my quest, I've found reflexology to be an amazing pain reliever, especially of the feet. Doesn't it seem like you can trace every neural path from the bellybutton down through both legs, and every branching neural brachea streaking through every leg muscle? It hurts!
Good luck on your journey...and many BLESSINGS!!!
