That is a wicked weed. You can't even burn the danged stuff out. The roots must go down 6 feet. It grows a foot a day. It has consumed houses, barns and trees. When it does cover a tree, the tree dies from lack of sunlight.

On the other side of the fence, I have fond memories of kudzu forts and caves. I got my first kiss, when I was 9, in a kudzu cave that my friends and I built. That was a 100 years ago; but I still remember the kiss. My thought at 9 years old was Ewwwww!
