Homeopathic for gout

Dear Dr. Hardy,

I just received a 100 vial homeopathic kit from Washington Homeopathics in anticipation of Swine Flu and just general treatments for various illness. I am new to learning about homopathy and have a question.

My mother is 68 years old and believes she has gout in left foot, especially the big toe and it feels like sharp pins and needles, off and on and more noticeable since weather change from warm to chilly and wet.

I am considering Sulphur, Berberis vulg. and/or Arnica. Please advise about appropriate remedy.
