Re: Is Barrett's syndrome curable

In 1995 I had surgery to remove a large part of my stomach and esophogus. Since that time I have had several scopes, with no cancer so far. The Barrett's is still there just not as bad. I take meds for the reflux and it seems to keep it down to minimum. I don't believe the it go away but if you keep an eye on it you will know what if anything changes, and dr's aren't in it for the money, every dr. that I have seen just wan't to keep me in the best health that I can be.
