Salsa as a way to consume garlic, etc?

I don't see why not, but I'd like to see what you all think.
Is a fresh homemade salsa an acceptable way to get the daily requirements of garlic, cayenne, and similar foods?
If so, does anyone have suggestions for tortilla chip replacements? Those
table salt laden, refined, deep fried tortilla chips can't be too good for you.
Here's the recipe I've been using on occasion for salsa:
3 Roma tomatoes
1 Jalapeno
2 Limes
1/2-1 White onion
1 Avocado
2-3 Garlic cloves
1/2 Cup cilantro
2 Tbsp
Extra-Virgin Olive-Oil
1/2 Tsp Pepper
1 Tsp
Sea Salt
1. Remove seedy "pit" of tomatoes, skin and pit of avocado. Dice all vegetables and put it into the bowl. Mix it.
2. Squeeze the lime juice in and mix.
3. Add olive oil and mix.
4. Add salt and pepper. Mix.
5. Set aside for 15 minutes before consuming.
The first few times I made it, I used
table salt , which isn't great. I use "Redmond Real Salt" now, but I might just leave the salt out next time because it's probably too much salt anyways. Someone made a simple salsa for me yesterday without salt and it tasted alright. As far as the black pepper goes, I've heard that it's only bad for you if it's cooked, otherwise it has benefits.
Any input?
