Sometimes these topical reactions are due to candida itself and therefore honey would actually feed the fungus. I have used a plain (perfume free) moisturizing cream to treat mine. The doc also gave me cortisone but I dont like to use it. I am conscious that my adrenals are exhausted (which causes low cortisone in my metabolism) and I treat them accordingly : //www.curezone.org/blogs/fm.asp?i=976142
However, you seem to get result with that cream. Like you, coconut oil would do no good on my skin due to dehydration. I d say the key rule is to listen yo your body and if your skin irritation improves with that cream, you should keep using it.
