Yes, Allie has been adopted - it was finalized Jan 18, 2006 - one week before her first birthday. Unfortunately, that does not give her citzenship - you have to wait 2 years after the adoption is finalized to apply for citzenship - it's expensive and time-consuming, so it has not been finalized yet. She is at home with her dad and sisters and yes, she is anxious for me to get home.

We are making progress here, but it is slow and frustrating - fortunately, it gives me lots of time to work with Kaylee and see if it is possible to help her with some of these problems before we turn to some extremely radical surgery. Thanks for caring and checking in. Tweet
