AAAAhhhh, you do like your labels, I'm not sure what you mean by calling me a liberal, I suspect it has a completely different meaning in my country. You also seem to have some strange notion that the people you call liberals don't pay taxes, or maybe its just that they don't resent having those taxes used for the good of all people instead of just a chosen few.

People donate money to make themselves feel good, or to feel superior to those they see as needing charity. These are selfish reasons.

As far as common sense and honesty, do you think that conservative people have cornered the market on these virtues, as far as I can see its completely the other way around.
