Re: anybody has full control rashes face 100%??
Hello, I'm a 24 year old male and I've been suffering from this for about 3 years also. I've tried lots of different things, went to the doctor a few times. Basically they just prescribed topical steriods, cortisone cream, anti-fungal cream, and told me there's no real way to get rid of it. None of that worked, and i gave up on doctors, seriously a waste of time and money. Each case is probably different, so what will help will differ I'm sure. Anyways, here is what i've been doing recently, and it seems to help A LOT, you can try different variations of it and see how it works for you. First off, i want to note that washing my face twice a day with olay fragrance free wash for sensitive skin and then putting a few drops of jojoba oil and a few drops of tea tree oil in my palm and spreading it on my face made my rash go away for about a week, then it stopped working. You may want to try this, i got the idea from a post i read online, so apparently it worked for someone else, so maybe it will work for you. I've researched quite a bit on more natural cures, so currently I'm taking evening primrose oil tablets, i got them from super supplements, taking two a day, 1300mg each. It specifically states on the bottle it contains GLA which is a fatty acid important for healthy inflammatory and immune system, and helps maintain healthy skin. Also I'm taking selenium tablets, i read somewhere these were also good for healthy skin, selenium sulfide is also what is in selsun blue and other shampoos for
Seborrheic Dermatitis , the tablets are 200mcg and im taking one a day. Next I'm taking a b-complex vitamin, just for a good balanced dose of various vitamins, also read this was helpful, taking one of these a day. Taking one 400mcg folic acid tablet a day, again...read this was helpful, sorry i don't have the sources, they're online somewhere. Finally, I'm taking two 550mg garlic tablets a day. You should be able to purchase all of these at a supplement/health food store for around $30-50 dollars total. Like i said, try them and also research and see if you can find others to add or replace that might be better. Also, I'm trying to drink a lot of water, about 5 bottles a day, and eat semi-healthy. Now for what i just recently started, I STRONGLY suggest trying this. go to a tanning booth. I figured I'd give this a try, and it has helped SOOO much, just after one session of 10 minutes, the little leftover red spots of my face began clearing up, this is only my 3rd day tanning and I have ZERO signs of SD. I just hope it will stay this way, I'll let you know if that changes at all, but i really do suggest trying it if you haven't already. Sorry for the long response, but i know how frustrating and hindering SD is, and hope this helps you. Please let us know if any of this works for you or not. Good luck!!
