Colon Hydrotherapy dangerous for diverticolitus?

I have a friend who has a severe case of diverticulitus he is hospitolized frequently and has almost died on several occasions from ruptured diverticolitus polyps.

There is a local colonic therapists who has had sucess treating diverticolitus but my friend is leary of getting colon hydrotherapy due to the fear of the pressure from the hydrotherapy possibly ruptering a polyp.

I've read lots of warnings saying that no one with an active diverticolitus infection should get a colonic.....anythoughts? Tweet
