Zapper for tooth infections

Hi! I'm really new at this zapper and pulser thing, but I have root canals, receding gums (due to ill-fitting crowns) which caused bone loss and pockets I can't reach with even a water flosser, and now a toothache. Great oral hygiene hasn't helped so far. I don't want another root canal but can't afford to lose another tooth either. I've heard both zappers and pulsers can help with these kind of infections.

I'm thinking about the Terminator II zapper and MAYBE also a Biotronix pulser.

What do you think of the Terminator II? Any other/better suggestions? How would I best use it for my teeth? Obviously strapping it to my hands or feet wouldn't work best, but I certainly can't strap it to my face... ;) I know I sound stupid, but I have no experience with these devices.

Also, I keep on hearing opposite information regarding zappers' safety when you have lots of metal in your mouth. I still have some mercury Amalgam fillings, and some say I shouldn't use a zapper because of it, while others say it's often used in situations like mine.

I appreciate any help. Thank you!
