Re: how to make bitters

I tried to stabilize an herbal formula with the use of glycerin. It worked before many times. Then, one day, I poisoned myself. My sinuses were so clogged that I could not smell anything. I took a normal dosage; and thought it tasted funny. My formulas already taste funny; but this one had a more vinegar type taste.

Shortly thereafter, I was hanging over the toilet. First time in my life that I ate anything spoiled.

So, no more depending upon glycerin for me.
