Mistype on my part - I meant to ask if silver puppy and silver gen run on batteries as well as electricity?

The Silver Puppy will run off 12 to 36 volts DC so you could rig up 3 nine volt batteries if you had to. The Pocket Puppy is another product of Silver Puppy. On this page you can see how to hook up 3 nine volt batteries.
