My mom was diagnosed with dystonia a few years back. She then had bunch of other health stuff found out and I think the dystonia doesnt bother her as much anymore, but I know she also knew a woman who had it much worse than she. My mom's dystonia was at the location of an old injury as well - she was in a wreck 30 years ago and it seems to follow those injuries.
Just wanted to throw that in there... havent heard anyone say the word dystonia other than my mom :=)
