how many drops of lugol's iodine to take each day?

I was told by the supplier of Lugol's Iodine (zerbos.com) that take 6 drops a day (break it to 4 times). since i have been suffering severe short breath and low heart rate, i doubt what i took was too much so i called today. another lady told me that was too much. even one drop 2 or 3 days. so i was confused.
how many Lugol's Iodine you guys take usually? i checked out some website and it looks like i did take too much! Tweet
