Re: Adrenal support candies

"I like making adrenal supportive candies by mixing astragalus, schisandra, pollen, amla and a little licorice root. Then I mix in vegetable glycerine until it forms a paste. I take a pinch and roll it in to a ball about the size of a pea. The candies taste like Sweet and Sour Tarts."

I just made a small batch of these. Anything to avoid packing to move. :p

I used a tsp of each except for licorice, which I used 1/2 tsp and the bee pollan which I just threw in liberally. I also used less amla than the others because I only had it in tiny gelgaps which I broke open. I made balls that are about 1/2". Does this sound about right, HV?

Not bad. The nice thing is that as you suck on the not so enticing (to me) other herbs, you're left with a yummy bee pollan reward in the center.

OK, back to packing...

It all boils down to taste. If you want sweeter add more licorice and bee pollen. If you want more tart lean more on the schisandra. Write down your recipes so you can repeat it once you get the flavor you like.
