Serrapeptase

I have read of much health benefits of serrapeptase. I know it is naturally occurring (silkworm gut enzyme); but it feels like it is unnatural. At least, it does seem to require a lot of processing to bring it to market. Never the less, I use it with "seemingly" no harm; so I don't mind telling others who may be looking for the same benefits. Am I wrong? Is this something I should consider dropping?

As well, I use nattokinase occasionally instead of NSAIDS. This too is naturally occurring; and only requires fermenting.

I guess what I'm really debating, in my mind, is whether I should move closer to the herbal world, where I began my health quest in the first place. In light of that, I'm going to post another message. Somehow, I've moved away from that; because other substance seem to bring me more relief of symptoms faster.
