I had an interesting experience last night that got me thinking. My wife was ill with burning in her stomach. There are more details but they are not important to this. We were at the emergency and one of the things that they did was an ultrasound to check her gall bladder. There were no visible stones. I began to wonder. It seems that there has been no conclusive scientific evidence whether the excrement that we all examine after a purge is gall stones. I notice that the reactions are somewhat emotional when this is challenged. For example "they must be stones because I feel so good". Has anyone ever been given an ultrasound before and after to see if there is a difference in the amount of stones?
