I know what you mean, Anne...

...And the only alternative I can offer is this...

Sez who?

It seems to me that we get more of what we focus on...so focus on what we prefer...NOT on what we don't want.

If we want clean water, where is clean water to be found?

Follow the contours of the ground...where do artesian wells occur? Where do weeds and grasses grow lushly indicating the presence of groundwater?

Where do trees and shrubs and weeds and grasses draw up the groundwater (aquafer)?

How does Earth clean water over and over and over again?

I once saw a glorious picture of a mountain stream thundering and splashing over rocks. The article with it told that the water might not be safe to drink.

Sez who?

Personally, I'd trust that water hands down over any processed city water.

Water only has to tumble a few feet over, or through, rocks before it is nice and clean again.

Read, read, read...and look for paradise.

Question everything and look for folks you can believe...but not slavishly.

And, avoid saying your doubts aloud...simply smile and nod in apparent agreement.

There is always a way.

My best,

Fledgling
