Your daughter may benefit in the grow phase of the bumps by applying surgical spirits on this surface of the affected skin. This may penetrate and kill the warm like things growing there.
You could also try Neem Oil to do the same job.
This would prevent the skin being damaged in the first place and prevent the needs to repair the scars.
The existing scars may disappear over time as every cell in the body is replaced every 7 years: Therefore, we may see natural healing over time.
Please research Neem Oil on the internet and read up on the use of surgical spirits. Please keep away from naked flames when using surgical spirit.
