First nightime sweat also chills?

Hello,

i am 45 in Nov. so we know what is happing here.
Still having reg periods and i still feel it when i ovulate so nothing diff there, HOWEVER.... you know whenever i hear other Women talk about "nite sweats" i say "no, not me"
But.....LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!
something strange occurred to wake me up and that was, i was FREEZING and i mean TO THE BONE!!!! scared the CRAP out of me!
Now, i am in El Paso right now so it is in the 90's and 80's at nite and i sleep with AC OFF and a medium sized fan aimed at the bed, i had no shirt on and the fan was on HIGH (usually on med) i awoke in a PANIC turned the fan down to med (big diff wow),covered myself with only a sheet and went back to sleep comptemplating if if should freak out or not, then i remembered that this same thing happened to me when my last child was born (i was 40) 2 days after the birth SAME thing happend, so as i drifted back to sleep, i reminded myself that my period was due in a day or so and that NO, most likey i was NOT Dying!!!
Then one hour later i awoke DRENCHED IN SWEAT!!!!
That has NEVER happened before...
Ah, i said to my self, HORMONES.....wow!

Anybody else have CHILLS along with SWEATS?
