bowel movements

I found this website yesterday after researching the Mirena IUD. Short synopsis: I gave birth at the end of March. In mid May my doctor inserted the Mirena IUD stating, "the only real side effect is bleeding which can last a while". I opted to get it b/c I had the copper iud which caused a lot of bleeding. Okay, so in mid June, June 19th to be exact, I had diahrrea. I thought it was something I ate. Well with the exception of a week in which I had somewhat normal looking stools, I have had loose stools with intermittent diahrrea. I called my doctor's office to schedule an appointment and the nurse said that "10% of users complain of loose stools". Now I have what appears to be a new symptom, mucus which I pass separately which appears to be blood tinged (I had this once yesterday and once today). I pass this only once I gone what I can go all day. Needless to say I'm very very concerned and I'm scheduled to go in tomorrow, but I can't help but feel that before the Mirena I had very normal stools and now I'm a mess. Anyone else out there?
