Re: my case
Your body will fix itself and smell good if you just let it do it's job, if you remove the chemicals and let the bacteria and enzymes do their job. Clean from the inside out. Junk in, junk out.
Single cell organisms are smart enough to not eat preservative-laden food... what does that say about us? Your digestive system and body can not break down preservative-laden food correctly and
preservatives interfere with your body's ability to work correctly. Microbes and bacteria are needed to break down foods in your digestive system to produce B12 and other things essential for health and
preservatives prevent this from happening. A good part of the human body is made up of these organisms like beneficial bacteria that keep your body clean and smelling fresh. Let those baneficial symbiotic bacteria prosper and they will work for you to keep harmful bacteria and other infections away like candida yeast overgrowth.
Go out into the forest - does it smell putrid from all of the decomposing wood, dead creatures and deer crap? No, it smells fresh and natural and earthy beacause it is filled with microbes and bacteria and enzymes that are busy "cleaning" everything. Your body is the same way - you need to encourage lots of beneficial bacteria to grow in your body because you have a symbiotic relationship with them. Forget trying to become sterile like the soap companies want you to, and do not consume anything that is a preservative or that kills bacteria like chlorinated drinking water. Avoid
Antibiotics .
"The acid mantle is a very fine, slightly acidic film on the surface of the skin acting as a barrier to bacteria, viruses and other potential contaminants that might penetrate the skin. The pH of the skin is between 4 and 5.5, so it is acidic. These contaminants and other chemicals are primarily alkaline in nature and the skin's moderate acidity helps to neutralize their chemical effects." -wikipedia
Most soaps are alkaline and destroy the acid mantle of your skin which leaves your body in a constant state of trying to fix that barrier. I don't use soap or shampoo or toothpaste or chlorinated water and my diet is fresh whole foods filled with enzymes. It didn't happen overnight but I was able to change myself and reverse years of accumulation of chemicals,
preservatives and junk. I get no complaints regarding odor, although I used to when I was your age.
Go with whole foods instead of supplements. I would stay away from milk and gluten (wheat) which both create mucous and glue to muck up the digestive system. And I can't repeat enough how important enzymes are - eat a papaya or
Watermelon frequently, both are great sources of enzymes and lots of other great stuff.
