Weird swooshing feeling....

Ok this is weird but very very true. When sleep I guess I do have OBE's quite often but don't see much because I choose not too. Anyway, in OBE strange things happen: there are weird noises and sensations. Now I'm noticing that while fully awake I'm noticing a certain sensation that I get in OBE which is a swooshing feeling/sound about the head. I would like to get to the root of this. If someone has any information or advice for me on what is going on here I would greatly appreciate it. Someone suggested that it was simply my sinuses draining. LOL No, it can't be.
