Re: If I had cancer what would I do
Yes Sara,
prolonged and undue stress.
We all undergo stress, but it has to be kept in check or it can take over your life; it depends how we manage it.
Some people can also tolerate undue stress better than others and I believe some people are more susceptible to its effects; I am one of those people. My brother also.
Targeted Nutrition helps enormously as does rebound-exercise, but ample sleep and rest and relaxation techniques are also essential. Well they are for me anyway.
My father suffered with melanoma which eventually crumbled his bones; he suffered in silence towards the end, but he was in agony with pain.
The ineffable frustration of knowing I could have helped him earlier in his illness, and his refusal to adopt anything I suggested made it all the worse: like watching a man drowning, knowing that you are the strongest swimmer and lifeguard with an impervious glass wall between the two of you.
The harshness of life is something we all have to bear: some sink and some swim in the sea of life: but I chose to swim and am still here.
