Re: Dentures and oral thrush: new developments

Yeah I have to say Australia's socialised medicine has been a disaster. People in the public system (and that's most of the population) have to wait sometimes for years, to get their surgery. With my private insurance I can access experienced doctors who actually have some experience in surgery if I need it (rather than student doctors) or the vast amount of new Indian doctors Australia is bringining in from oversease because there are less and less local medical university places made available in Australia these days; and not to mention doctors from India are much cheaper to bring in than it is to train a doctor locally. We have stuffed this country up in the last 15 years trying to marry political correctness, 'multiculturalism' and greed. Did I mention there are hardly any local kids left in the universities as all they care about is attracting overseas students (mainly from India) who pay 2x or 3x the amount to study here.
