I am newly Dx with Inflammatory Bowel and also Dr. found H. Pyloria in stomach and sm. Intestine.. I just got home with three Rx for antibiotics and also some anti-spasmodic (have not filled yet) and I am really confused, angry and just plain sick.
I have been working diligently on a case of candida for about a year now and just recently started to show some relief and now I am faced with this.
I REALLY, really don’t want to take antibiotics EVER again unless I am dying but from what I have just read H. Pyloria is some scary stuff.
Has anyone ever treated this naturally? What can I do!? I am pretty sure if I refuse to take the antibiotics my Gastro is not going to work with me anymore.
I am scheduled for a CT scan this Thursday to check more of my small bowel.. (just finished a colonoscopy and upper EGD plus several other labs).
Can anyone guide me in the right direction? Antibiotics are the LAST thing I want to do right now.
Mastic gum is the most effective remedy for Helicobacter pylori. Studies have found that mastic eradicates H. pylori even in very small concentrations.
For the Candida I recommend kefir, and prebiotics. Some of my favorite prebiotics are rice bran, oat bran, FOS and yucca root.
