Anyone tried Spironolactone?

Hi there..

I have been on Spironolactone now for about 4 months and I think I am seeing a slight improvement with my facial hair. I have thick hair predominantly on my chin and under my jawline as well as a few on my upper lip. I still shave daily to keep smooth as I have pale skin which seems to make the hair stand out more. I also had an Acne problem which the Spironolactone has helped with too, previous to that I was on the equivilent of Diane 35 for my facial hair but it gave me awful cystic Acne which has led to pretty bad scarring. I am at my wits end with my facial hair as I have had a problem with it since my daughter was born when I was 22 and I feel like a freak. Thankfully I have the support of a wonderful man who doesn't care that I have to shave every day like he does! I have tried waxing, hair removal creams, shaving and tweezing but I want something that will work long term. If anyone else has tried Spironolactone how long did it take to see good results?
