Re: Olive leaf tincture +edit
'Sorry, it's not something we make.
You likely already know it's many benefits (most folks do, and I know you have a particularly good 'head for knowledge'), so it's likely you know more than me.
Olive leaf has a great "benefit profile", but olive leaf products have only been on the market since the mid 1990's, and didn't really hit the 'mainstream' until a few years later...hence there's been virtually no reliable human studies.
With an herb that has STRONG "killer abilities", that's not a long enough 'test of time' to satisfy me...along with a few other issues of concern:
--Olive leaf can lower blood pressure (but I'm not aware of how quickly and what dosages). This is obviously something that can be a concern for those dealing with hypotension.
--Olive leaf can also lower blood
Sugar - obviously a good thing for diabetics, but could be dangerous/harmful for someone with hypoglycemia (especially if they have low bp)...and again, I don't how quickly or at what dosages this may be an issue.
--The "killer thing" - olive leaf is a strong anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral...but that also means it kills "life". While this isn't generally an issue in 'Alternative medicine/science', it is a HUGE issue in fundamental Natural health & healing. We are symbiotically dependent upon the microorganisms within our body; these precious microorganisms are already thrown out of balance daily simply by exposure to toxins in the environment...not to mention those that willingly ingest the killing offenders found in/on non-organic produce, unfiltered water, pharmaceuticals, RPs (Radiolytic Products produced by food irradiation), and meats that are doused with a genetically modified 'bacteria eating' virus. We know that pathogens are NOT the true cause of disease or illness; Pasteur's Germ Theory, was an incorrect theory (he admitted that on his deathbed. The typical 'kill, kill, kill' mentality always serves to throw the natural homeostasis of microorganisms throughout the body even FURTHER off balance. And besides, microorganisms don't cause disease anymore than mosquitoes cause a pond to become stagnant - it's *because* the pond is stagnant there's an overgrowth of mosquitoes. And then there's the somatids? (an ultra-microsopic subcellular living and reproducing entity) ...Bechamp theorized them, Naessens identified them and verified their life cycle (hence creating 714x, a known cancer cure). What does olive leaf do to the somatids and other beneficial microorganisms? I don't know.
Garlic is also a "killer" (and like olive leaf, has other myriads of benefits - it also can lower bp & blood sugar), but garlic also contains inulin (a prebiotic, and garlic has been used to assist the body in replenishing gut flora). Garlic has stood the 'test of time', was used by both
Dr. Schulze & Dr. Christopher, and we also have access to literally hundreds (if not thousands) of clinical studies on humans (which are sorely lacking with olive leaf). From observation over decades & centuries of it's strong healing benefits, we can assume garlic doesn't interfere with the life cycle of other life forms. Many report garlic IS selective in what it kills. Garlic is used by some medical practitioners in other countries to RESTORE gut flora.
Do I think Olive Leaf it's "dangerous"? Not necessarily (or likely)...it's CERTAINLY better than
Antibiotics & other pharmaceuticals. I do think it *may* fall under the category of "symptom bandaid" rather than a true healing herb. I prefer bolstering the immune & lymphatic system and getting rid of the REASON for the proliferation of pathogens, rather than just killing the pathogens. There's just no beating the Echinacea/Garlic duo!
Do I recommend against it's use? No, I don't recommend against it (people have obviously experienced wondrous benefits)...but it's not part of this particular healing protocol. And due to it's strong 'killing properties' (and not having been used by Schulze/Christopher, or standing the test of time), it's not part of the IP.
That all being the case, I simply don't feel comfortable making, selling or recommending it.
Perhaps a simple 'yes or no' would have sufficed, but this is an issue that's likely to come up 'again & again', so I thought I'd take the time to get this into print.
Healthiest of blessings -
