Re: MC during third trimester and labor---anyone with experience?
I have never fasted during my
pregnancy, willingly, that is.
I did throw up virtually every
meal for 10 weeks and I was
really freaked about that but
my brother-in-law who was a
Professor of Biology explained
that it was actually a healthy
sign albeit hormonal and would
insure a healthy pregnancy and
little danger of a miscarriage.
So, while I can attest to the
issue of fasting in the first
tri-mester is not a huge issue
since I certainly could not keep
food down, I do agree with Pepe,
that the last trimester is not
one to fast or engage in heavy
detoxing.
I imagine you may not find someone
who has fasted and if you are
sitting on the fence, why not
ask yourself if it is worth the
risk of stressing your baby to
what end??
Best wishes,
Zoe
