Lip and throat numbness from oleander soup.

Hi Tony or anyone, I recently made a batch of Oleander soup and I am concerned because I do notice a numbness of the lips and throat 10 to 20 minutes after taking a dose. I have only started taking the soup for a week and have just increased the dose to 1/2 teaspoon. I read the warning about throwing the soup out immediately if a sample test to the lips causes numbness as it is a sign of insecticide spray presences in the plant. I have verified with the insecticide co. that no plant spraying is done on the property. Could it be that my soup may have condensed more than it should have and is it normal to cause numbness if it is a stronger that usual soup. It is 50/50 soup and Braggs apple cider vinegar.
