Hiatal Hernia
I recently had an ah ha moment. I have experienced bouts of acid reflux for many years on and off. Someone posted something about a hiatal hernia on the forums. It is here:

I started to put two and two together. When I have costo my breathing diminishes greatly.
So I watched the YouTube of the Dr. pushing down the hernia away from the rib cage.
I am experiencing a 3rd bout of costo. This was was not more severe than in the past, but it's there nevertheless. This bout was not debiliating, but it certainly has made me stop working out, etc. I'm terrified to go into a full blown flair up.
I started to practice the technique in the video, and darn if I didn't experience some relief. Then I taught my husband to do this technique to me. It makes perfect sense that if I have a hernia it is pushing up into my rib cage and lungs. The technique can't hurt you, so why not?
I'm going to continue on and see where this gets me. But for the most part I'm feeling optimistic.
