I think the point is that, although we here at Curezone realize she was sadly deluded in her cancer crusade, the "war against cancer" is generally recognized as very worthy and honorable. She had good intentions and strove to make the world better. And most people would probably agree with that, the House of Representatives and Obama included. So within that worldview, within that frame of perspective, why would they honor MJ over and above Farrah and Ed?

Of the three, I too would honor Ed and Farrah above Michael.

I definitely think it's ridiculous that the House of Reps had a moment of silence!! Now, if Obama wants to personally send a note to someone he admired, that's his business - so even though I don't like his politics I am less concerned about his part.
